the gays like nintendo games cause most of them arent mmos and if they are theres no voice chat and its actually fun and thats the tea

Also because there’s a surprising number of Nintendo characters don’t conform to binary gender and/or who define their own gender identity.  (See: the Toad species and the Inklings.)

Also many of them are very cute and wholesome and fun and like with the way the world is we just need that Gentle Escapism

need to be able to forget about how narrow minded and awful the world is for a bit and just enjoy a fun adventure as a round happy pink orb <3

plus nintendo’s one of the few companies still making games with a full color palette (i.e. rainbow colors) instead of making everything the same dusty greyish brown till you can’t tell the scenery and the characters apart

this has turned into the nintendo teahouse, you are all correct

also nintendo isn’t afraid to put games out there that actually have a distinct and charming art style rather than only games with HD 1020P hyper-realistic graphics that make me look at every individual face pore and eyeball mucus sheen on some dusty war man’s face
